This course is for Teachers

Addressing Learning Challenges introduces the students to the neurodevelopmental approach to learning. Students will learn some interesting facts regarding what we know about the brain and a brief history of the neurodevelopmental approach. Further, students will explore some key concepts including Input vs. Output and the Neurodevelopmental Profile of the International Association of Neurodevelopmentalists. Following this introduction, students will explore how to address the different subjects using the neurodevelopmental approach. Finally, students will be guided in creating a Plan of Action for a student with whom they have or are working.
